Session 1: Telling Your Grant Story - April 16, 2024
This session kicked off the 2024 H-1B One Workforce/Rural Healthcare Virtual Convening with an interactive discussion that highlights the overarching H-1B grant goals and objectives, and the importance of being able to “Tell Our Story” – knowing how to talk about the program objectives and the importance of documenting successes and communicating those to stakeholders.

Session 2: Beyond Reporting: From Metrics to Meaning - April 16, 2024
This session focused on the ways grantees can collect all kinds of data and apply it in different contexts; From documenting participant needs to inform program design and partnerships to demonstrating impact to future partners and funders.

Session 3: Empowering Participant Success in the Final Year - April 17, 2024
As we near the end of this grant, many grantees are shifting their energy toward an emphasis on participant supports that result in program completion and industry certification, as well as ensuring participant career readiness and job placement.

Session 4: Planning for Sustainability - April 17, 2024
This session helps grantees think through all the crucial aspects of sustainability considerations and planning, ensuring the continuity of customer and partner relationships, and diversifying and aligning resources.

Session 5: The Changing World of Work - April 18, 2024
Engage with a panel of leaders in various sectors as they discuss critical current and projected changes in their industries, and how those changes have and are altering their recruitment, screening, interviewing, and hiring practices.

Session 6: Grant Closeout Activities - April 18, 2024
In this session, you will hear from the Office of Grants Management to discuss grant closeout activities and expectations as the grant enters its final phases.

Session 7: H-1B OW/RH Grantee Virtual Convening - Session 7: DOL Priorities & Convening Closing - April 18, 2024
This session will start with U.S. Department of Labor leaders discussing administration priorities such as Investing in America agenda, ETA 2030, job quality, sector strategies, Registered Apprenticeship, and any other initiatives that will build off the work that is happening in the public workforce system.
