SMART 4.0 Training
Strategies for sound grants management comprised of: Monitoring, Accountability, Risk Mitigation and Transparency (SMART) 4.0 is a series of ten grants management training modules for new and experienced award recipients aimed at providing an understanding of the grant process and requirements. Modules include Audits and Audit Resolution; Budget Management and Grant Modifications; Cost Allocation and Indirect Cost; Cost Principles and Cost Classification; ETA Grant Management; Financial Reporting; How to Write an Effective Monitoring Report Using the 4 Cs and 5 Whys; Monitoring and Oversight; Procurement Standards and Methods; and Subrecipient Management.

- New eLearning Curriculum Now Available: SMART Grants Management for DOL-ETA Grant Recipients (applicable to grants awarded after October 1, 2024)
Building Pathways Grantee TA Kickoff Webinar
DOL has contracted with Jobs for the Future (JFF) to offer a variety of TA services to all DOL Building Pathways to Infrastructure Jobs grantees. This webinar provided an overview of the full range of TA services available to support Building Pathways grantees’ success.
Integrating Worker Voice Webinar
On April 25, 2024 DOL hosted this worker voice-themed webinar designed to provide level-setting context and resources for grantees and covered topics including the meaning and importance of worker voice and how to incorporate worker voice to inform program design.
Building Effective Employer Partnerships WebinarOn September 11, 2024 DOL hosted this webinar which explored strategies and best practices for engaging employers and understanding their needs within the transportation and clean energy sectors. Featured speakers shared industry-specific insights on employer outreach, making a strong case for collaboration, and building lasting partnerships.
