Impactful Partner Communication: Principles and Techniques
About
The MSG Scaling Apprenticeship (SA) TA Team understands that SA grantees are the U.S. Department of Labor’s chosen agents of change, selected for their ability to create impact. The better a SA grantee can communicate its goals and strategies to their partners, the more effective those partnerships will be -- and the more likely partners, including subgrantees, are able to perform in ways consistent with DOL’s goals for the project.
In this participatory webinar, Impactful Partner Communication: Principles and Techniques, grantees and coaches provided ideas and innovations for internal and external communication. Webinar attendees:
- Obtained six basic principles for effective communication
- Gained seven communication techniques and how to implement them in SA grant activities and operations
- Heard about communication initiatives and techniques practiced by their SA grantee peers
- Discovered how to apply communication strategies to create an emotional and motivational connection to their SA grant partners
