This session focused on learning about transitioning military veteran services and how to locate and connect with them in their service area. Understand the transitioning veteran nuanced training, education, scale-up, and capacity building needs of this highly skilled, yet not civilian workforce ready participant.
Grantee's gained awareness of the comprehensive, wrap-around case management that both veterans and employers require to facilitate effective placement in training and employment. Grantees shared their questions, concerns, and in-place strategies for recruiting and placing transitioning veterans and their spouses in training programs and employment.
